ALRIGHT, alright, MAYBE I'm going a little bit too overboard with the FB thing. But Molly just makes such cute icons!!!
Today I had road rage! Hmm ... maybe I shouldn't be writing this where Mom can read ... oh well. I didn't ACT on it, that's the thing. See, I was in the left lane, and I got stuck behind this one van that was going SO slow. Like, we kept passing the people in the right lane, and there were a bunch of them, so it's not liek I could switch into the right lane and pass him, but he was just going WAY too slow. I was behind him for literally 40 minutes at least. Finally, when I'm getting close to the college, I see my opening. I pass the guy on my right, switch into the right lane, and pass the van guy on the left. And do you know what he does, the INSTANT I pass him after 40 minutes of silently urging him to get out of my way? HE GETS INTO THE RIGHT LANE! Right after I pass him! What a JERK! I'm not usually angry about stuff on the road but today was special I guess.
I finished folding aaaaall the light curves! Yay! I have lots of pretty real stars. I'm supposed to identify them on the map and do an article search, but both are difficult. For one, its really hard to locate the field since I'm trying to look for stars that may not even be there (too dim). Secondly, even though I found bunches of articles, I'm supposed to print them, and my computer has issues speaking correctly to like, any printer ever from a website. I guess I'll work on that tomorrow.
I watched NASA TV today while I worked. Cameron was nice enough to let me borrow his headphones, so I could hear what they were saying. It must have been so disappointing--they had just got all seven astronauts into the shuttle when they made the call to scrub the launch. You could hear the announcer's disappointment in their voices, cause everyone thought this would be the day. It just proves though, that NASA has a better mindset and isn't going to take unnecessary risks.
PLUS, that means the astronauts get to have a second traditional cake, yay for them!
Since Heather doesn't have an LJ anymore, I'll tell you guys that she got her results back from her halter monitor yesterday. She has Wancke-something 2nd Order Heart Break ... or, ya know, something like that. Basically her heart beats irregularly, but it's benign. She had to go see Dr. Mazuz today (yay Daphne's dad!) and he hooked her up to this other monitor that's smaller but she has to wear it for two weeks. And when she has an episode she's supposed to press a button and it'll record it. And THEN she had to go to Dr. Savar for her college checkup and she had to get TWO shots!!! Poor Hezzybear.
Molly ... is a dork.
Last weekend, Deb, Nicole, and I went to the 'black expo.' Uh huh. What we didn't realize is that the black expo is like a two week long event, and that when we saw a bunch of people congregated in a park with loud music, maybe we should have scouted it out first. But no, we parked and walked into this festival. And we're walking around, seeing what there is to see, and gradually it dawns on all of us that this is the Festival Latino--although it took the big sign to give us the name. We stood around for a little, and then left, because I was the only one who could pass as Latino. Maybe.
Nicole had her orientation today!!! She'll be able to get her teaching program done really fast (relatively) cause she's already had one year of college that transferred over. Apparently she didn't get lots of free stuff, oh well. Deb's orientation is Friday. So is Bobby's wedding.
I slept ALL day Sunday, it was ridiculous. I didn't think I was that tired. And I watched First Daughter with Deb some point, which they basically just ruined the movie so it was impossible to have a happy ending. Losers. We rents Princess Diaries 2 as well, but I didn't watch that cause I was tired.
Oh! Derek and Brandy are here. Yep. So I got to meet Arianna, and she's really cute. Kinda loud, but hey, what can ya do with babies. Hehe, Dog Boy came in today and Derek almost punched him (cause ya know, people just walk into Nicole's house and no one knows who they are). Muahahhaa.
Today I accidentally ran a stop sign. No one was around, except this lady on a bike who screamed at me, but it totally wasn't my fault because I was looking for the post office on the other side of the road. Oops. Oh well. Yeah Merissa! I mailed those DVDs! Yay!
I got my pants back from the mall. The lady did a REALLY good job on them. I might shop more at the Buckle just cause of her.
I have to go to Wal-Mart now. Bye!
